Dr Belinda McCormack MBBS FRACGP
Dr Belinda McCormack graduated in Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1999. She worked for several years in Beaudesert Hospital, and then in the Maryborough and Hervey Bay regions, fulfilling her time under a Rural Health Scholarship. She went on to complete her General Practice Training in Cairns in 2006 before finally returning to settle in Brisbane to start her family and General Practice career.
Dr McCormack and her family have recently moved to the North side, and thus she has has made the very difficult decision to move her practice from one she has loved on the South side of Brisbane for over 11 years. She is very much looking forward to providing excellent medical care to her new community.
She prides herself on her warm manner, thorough and investigative approach to difficult medical problems, and clear communication style.
While she is highly skilled at all areas of General Practice, Dr McCormack has particular interest and extensive experience in paediatrics, adolescent health, women's health, contraception, sexual health and family planning.
Dr McCormack works part time in general practice, and complements this with work in a specialised sexual health and family planning clinic.
Dr McCormack loves live music and cooking, tries (in vain) to beat her PBs in several half marathons a year and keeps her mind active trying to keep up with her busy school aged son and daughter.
